Quinn and I were friends who always wanted to go to check out creepy places. We loved the thrill of not knowing what was out there creeping in the dark. So of course we jumped at the chance to explore an abandoned house. It was about thirty minutes away, so the next saturday that we were free we drove out to get a quick look. We had fun checking it out and decided to tell our friends. When we actually got into the house it seemed it was not so abandoned as we thought. There were clothes still in the closets, toys left out, and a light on in the back room. We tried opening the door but it was locked. I don't know why we didn't try breaking open the door... It just didn't seem like the smart thing to do I guess.
After Quinn disappeared, everything went crazy! I tried calling the police after I asked Matt to come help me, but my signal went out. I kept trying and trying but it wouldn't connect! A long wait later, Matt showed up with the camera; I had tried calling him when I couldn't get ahold of the police, and for some reason my phone didn't have a problem connecting to his... Anyway, I asked him if he could bring a camera with him. When I got home I told my parents I couldn't find Quinn, but they just laughed it away saying that he was probably playing a trick on me.
A day or two later I went back to the house to pick up the camera, but it was gone! I'm hoping maybe Quinn found it...maybe he is playing a game with me... I really hope he is but i can't help but feel that something else is going on...
